Jirakaan Restaurant is a charming Thai restaurant with a large tree towering in the center, offering an inviting atmosphere perfect for entertaining guests.The cuisine is Thai, yet it has a European flair. I highly recommend ordering the dish featuring large fried shrimp drizzled with a little “nam chim gai,” a sweet chili sauce. Since the restaurant is located a short way down from Soi 51, it’s a shame that the walk from the BTS Thong Lo Station is quite long. It would have been nice if they offered a shuttle service. Another regret is that I was too full to try the dessert this time.

The prawns were particularly plump and delicious!

Some of the dishes in the menu are new to me - not a typical Thai restaurant dishes. I wish I have more time in Bangkok to taste the dishes. Plenty to choose from! The decor is cozy and not over the top.It felt like going to a neighbourhood restaurant, cozy and great ambience to entertain guests. It feels like going to a good local restaurant instead of going to a tourist place. Excellent service, super yummy food and a cozy place to spend time with your company.

Good service, good fish (I cannot comment on meat dishes, did not have any).

Good food but service very inattentive and really unkind

This is a hidden gem. The Thai food is amazing and vampire grill is fantastic. Really high quality food all around. Must try.

Small restaurant but easy to access from Sukhumvit rd. very plain minimal decor but clean and comfortable. Excellent food and service. We arrived very early for our reservation but were accommodated without any fuss even though it was very busy.

Close at 21 but still you can book a table for 20:30. Doesn’t make any sense. They gave us 10 minutes to look at the menu and order (table for 7). 40 minutes to eat, and even brought the bill while we were still eating in a terrible rush. We took half as take away except for the drinks. Too bad because the food was good.
