Wonderful meal at Philippe; super fresh oysters, velvety lobster bisque, perfectly seasoned steak tartare, beef stroganoff and a beautiful piece of turbot. I did share it with my wife and she even managed a crème brûlée at the end. A wonderful place for a special night.

Well if you want honest opinion. I enjoyed the restaurant the front is outstanding 5star. Ambiance and decor 5 star. Food was really good i did get a bad stomach ache as i was leaving. And the steak was 1 star. Very very bad. Small. Extremely extremely undercooked Very tough. Bad flavour.

Authentic, classy and vintage ambience for your wonderful French dinner in Bangkok. The place is charming where you can plan for special occasion e.g. Birthday, anniversary, Valentine or graduation. The restaurant is large enough for group of 8-10 persons.

Excellent as always. A great place for a celebratory meal. The filet of beef was excellent though a little small… the set menu said 3000 bt ( see pic) but when we got the bill it was 3500 bt see photo. AJW

Came here twice for their good value lunch meal in September and October. On my latest visit, was greeted warmly by their restaurant manager, Khoon Boon and given a seat at a table next to the window, as I had made a prior reservation. Ordered the steak with poivre sauce and leek soup - oh my, both dishes were truly delicious! The steak was accompanied by warm bread, salad and frites, and I ordered a glass of red to top it off. The set lunch came with dessert and Khoon Boon offered ice tea instead of tea…so sweet of him as it was a refreshing cool drink for a hot day. One of my fave places for lunch, will definitely come back again and again!

Good food and high quality. Also a good bargain for lunch set. Love the different kind of butter you can try with your bread, authentic cabonara and cheese plate here.
